Hello, I have begun experimenting with wonderful skin for TouchOSC done by lotech.

I have tried to mode the skin for CoreMIDI outputs. The resulting system exhibited some anomalities.

I have found the following to be true
1. CoreMIDI exhibits more latency in controls versus the Osculator.
2. When you establish Ad-Hoc network connection between IPAD and Mac, the ethernet cable should be unplugged. If the cable is plugged Mac OSX will try to look for connection from the ethernet ignoring ad-hoc network.
3. Osculator connection tends to be more stable, despite the fact that it makes no sense.

Has anyone experienced these symptoms>

I have noticed intermittent when I use Osculator, sometimes changes would be immediate other times there would be a slight delay. As I now have my iPad back (never lend it to gf's) I'll do some more checking.

I've also had issues with the iPad failing to reconnect to the adhoc network.
I plan on doing some checks using a airport express to make a network, that may solve the reconnect problems.

Yp, having small switcher, not even router will solve all of the issues. Ad-Hoc network is not as reliable as real network. Nothing we can do about that.

If you would not mind, I can post CoreMIDI version of the skin that you have created. I am almost done programing it....
