syncing audio/ sounds with finished projection visuals.

    by CAW » Sun Aug 28, 2011 11:42 pm

I have a finished visual projection project finished and now wanting to sync sounds to the visuals. Is there any audio software which will allow me to display the finished visuals ( as in video playback) at the same time allowing me to create music / sounds ?

Could you not try something like Ableton? Would this work for your needs. I know you are able to sync them via midi.

I'm currently Using Qlab from figure 53 . this software is a timeline & event based software to manage audio+midi+image sync. though the programming paradigm is not user firendly it's a remarkable softawre to use along with M8 when you have to deal with Timeline and audio sync with audio spatialization. spatailization.

qlab can pipe into syphon too, with a little bit of quark magic.

unfortunatly not, since syphon is not an official apple validated API, figure 53 will not embed this techno until apple officially approves it.
but they are interested in syphon .
