have a problem

hey...
my english is not that good but i ll try to tell you what kind of problem i have.
well i made a few clips in pal jpg a codec in after effects.
sometimes i try to load something in group b and the clip interrupted the animation (sometimes a still of it is seen or just the half of it on the right side)
i use fading going from group a to b... but sometimes modul8 sees group a and b as one! what can i do? maybe its my mistake?
i use a powerbook g4 1,67 with 2gb ram...
