video card for ibook g4....

maybe you've been asked this a thousand times....but what would be the most powerful/usefull graphics card to get for my 12 inch g4 ibook...the ram is at 512, but i will upgrade it to 1.5, currently the graphics card is a ATI Mobility Radeon 9550 32MB.....would love to beef up this laptop, so I could use my imac to concentrate on the music

The disadvantage of all apple laptops (and most other laptops). Is that you can't upgrade the graphics card.
The things you can upgrade are RAM and with some surgery the Harddisk (replacing your HD will void the warranty).
I hope that answers your question.

cant upgrade the graphics card? really ? so if the same model laptop is available with two different cards on the applestore website, doesnt it stand to reason you can change the graphics card later ? probably not with apple, but cant you just buy the card and have a technician install it ?

which model ibook ever had better than a Radeon 9550 32MB?
it never has and no it can't be upgraded
