Last saturday I did my first performance with my stock macbook pro 2ghz. And being used tot a 1250mhz ibook, i have to say it performed very well. It went on all night (6 hour solo set) without problems luckily (the ibook died last thursday so I didn't have any back-up except a cam in my mixer.

I als used video-in from a spycam through an ADVC and that even worked with effects etc. on it (the performance hit was quite noticable when I put videocapture in the layer menu but being used to an ibook you won't hear me complaining).

But mann do I look forward to using 2.5 with this beast of a machine.
