Has anyone noticed what happens when you press these 3 keys at the same time?
Command+Option+Shift
Makes Modul8 go nuts
what other easter eggs like this does Modul8 have?

Ha. Confirmed. That must be the psycho mode... just for $#!t$ and giggles, turn up the trace mode when those three keys applied.....be prepared to restart.

It's been posted here before. I actually discovered it back in 2004 and gave it a specific purpose in a song by LANCE BLISTERS.
When I met the team for the first time in 2005 I was informed that this was a test procedure. The flashing occurs because the entire interface is drawn in OpenGL.

it's actually a way to control the refresh rate. it changes the color each time the output is refreshed. So it's pretty fast

We've used it as an internal joke between two VJ groups. Cmd+opt+shift-ing each others computers during sets (rude but fun). And I think both groups have used it occasionally during performances as an effect, or used it on request.

Personally I find it a pain the ass. It's the same key combo as save for web in Photoshop (minus the S key)which is the quickest way to get a perfect transparent png or flattened jpg when in the middle of a set. More than once I've strobed a live screen with colour while quickly dealing to a logo or image on a show.

You know you cold change the Photoshop shortcuts, right? I know, it-s not that convenient if you have used the command for ages but at least it saves you from the random flicker surprise.
