I'm new to this forum and new to this topic.
If I ask a stupid question please be gentle. I tried to search the www before I posted here....
I'll have a job coming up where I'm going to use modul8 as my media server controlled by a grandMA.
I've used some different media servers in the past. In general I feel quiet confident.
The supplier is using modul8. Which is great as I've never used it before.
Now my problem is just to write a fixture for my console. So I can use all functions of modul8.
Is there a DMX protocol that tells me
DMX Channel 1 = x
DMX Channel 2 = y
-
-
-
DMX Channel 23 = z
etc...
If it doesn't exist is it possible to make it accessible to me?
I won't have much time on the day to programm a whole lot of movers and write myself a fixture for the console.
