Has anyone gotten Art-Net working with the 2.7 beta? I posted in the support forum and contacted support directly but I haven't heard anything back in about a week. I'd just like to know if anyone has had success with this!

Hi Gmint,
i tested it, but the grandma operator wasn´t that experienced, so i saw a feedback in M8 but
i couldn´t connect it. I couldn´t figure out how to rout the channels.
i think that to get this working you need a module that does the job.
any other help on this ?
would be great and helpful.

I think I understand the DMX module (which I think is what you need), but it's good to know that you were seeing input from Art-Net. Can I ask though, when you say you were seeing feedback in Modul8, where were you seeing it?

Well I'll be damned. I had no idea that window was there. I guess you learn something new every day. Thanks for the info! At least that gives me one more troubleshooting tool!

Hi gmint,
i had the chance to see this while other where setting up lights with m8.
I had no clue what they where doing , but i can remember "menue" functions quite well.
as beta tester for "avid media composer" interface, this was my job.
i got a massage from garagecube, that if you whant to control m8 with Artnet (DMX) you need
to use the dmx fixtures module. (page 132)
i can´t test this at the moment. so i hope you get this done.
thanxs

You got a massage ahah you'r lucky !
Btw : Gmint sorry for the delay of my answer on the support,
I'm using the Artnet since a while with succes it's the same way to use than DMX but I did not tested all configurations so you'r feed back are important.
Boris.

Boris,
As I indicated in my reply to the support ticket, my belief at this point is that Modul8 is working correctly with Universe 0 (which, for some reason, my lighting software doesn't send) but that higher universes do not work.

Hi !
I'm out of office this week,
I will do testing next week, to see if we have the same problem, and fix it if there is.
Thanks,
Boris.

There was a bug in the OSX version of QLC+. I have corrected the bug for their ArtNet plugin on OSX and submitted it to the developer. I sent you a patched version of QLC+ on the support.
Regards.
