I did a quick test with 2 clips on 2 layers encoded to Hap and Hap alpha in VDMX and PhotoJPG and PNG(with alpha) in Modul8. Difference is 43%CPU (VDMX) versus 147%CPU(M8). Amazing!

BTW the same Hap encoded clips play in M8 at 85%CPU.

WOW, you must be really dead. Millumin has Hap integrated already. Isadora is going to do it in next few days. You have not even responded to this. And I had new hope to use M8 still. I really hope you wake up soon.

I read about the codec and it does seem like something that Modul8 should support.

One more vote here for implementing MAP in M8. Could someone from the developer team get back to the users on this?

Whoops, that's HAP (not MAP).

Isn't it already supporting it? It plays in the Beta at least. But is it Accelerated?

HAP requires some special code in the application for acceleration. If garageCUBE has already added this, I hope they will let the users know.

I have been working on the Hap integration this week so it will be in an upcoming release; probably the 2.7.1 as we are quite ready to release the 2.7.0.
