Advanced output installation monitor arrangement problem

I've been having a bit of an aggravating issue with my Modul8 installation lately. I don't so much think that the problem is Modul8's fault as I think (hope) that someone here may have some suggestions as to how to address this issue. The problem is this: I have an installation with six outputs using Advanced Output. I get everything setup the way I want and it works as expected, then at the end of the night, the Modul8 machine stays on but the projectors and monitors go off. When I power the projectors and monitors back up the output numbers have changed and my composition is on the wrong displays. Now, I did not have this problem when I was using all VGA outputs, but now that I have switched to using five HDMI and one VGA sources, what I imagine is happening is that the HDMI outputs are causing a re-sync which rearranges everything. As a result, I have to manually go in and rearrange the outputs EVERY DAY, which is getting to be a bit of a PITA.

Has anyone dealt with this before? Any suggestions on how I might lock this down?

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated!

You're right, of course, however because of the cost associated with five or six of these, I was hoping to find a software solution. Perhaps there isn't one...

Parrots are crazy expensive - this is 1/5 the price and does the same thing.

Ok, since I'm a cheap and didn't want to spend $500 buying EDID recorders, I tried some alternatives and (I believe that) I've found the answer. To boot, it only cost me $25. The answer is SwitchResX (http://www.madrau.com/). It does just about everything you can do when it comes to displays including solving my problem!
