hi,
since there is a quite nice new mac book out, which seems to support dualhead by default, i was wondering if modul8 can run on this, or does it need an ati or nvidia card, as mentioned on the modul8 page.
is anyone out there already testing modul8 on an intel mac? please tell me about it :P
salut, julius

bonjour Julius,
I'm not running a MacBook but an Intel iMac and its blinding. I bought Modul8 in February and at the time it used Rosetta to convert the program code (on the fly). It worked well enough then for me to see it was a worthwile investment. Now its on another level. I'm not sure about the look of the graphics on the Macbook though: an intel 64MB chip. Hmmm...would be interested to know how it runs it though, it's a fair whack cheaper then the Macbook Pro...

i asked for premission in a store here, but they wouldn't allow it. i hope to hear from you, if you had the chance to try it on the machine.

Very nice people in the shop. I was allowed to try everything BUT Modul8 does not run on macbook. It was extreme slowly and evertime I changed a parameter the screen freezed.
Damn!
... maybe someone else could test it? i´m a mac-"beginner". probably I choosed wrong settings or something like that...? It would be soooo nice if modul8 would run on the cheap macbook...

I asusme you tried 2.0.2 DEMO, so the engine is not optimized for the intel processor...

I forgot to tell, that I testet modul8 on a macbook pro after testing on the macbook. on the pro (also intel), it was no problem with the demo-version...
