Hi m8

I have 30 video clips. I want each note on my keyboard to play a clip.
I can only seem to map 16 notes the midi mapper. I then have to map another key to change to the next media set.

Also, the only way to map the midi is by pluging in a midi keyboard. I want to use the computer to map the videos to each note without the keyboard.

Help... show is getting closer!

MIDI is limited in M8 and it seems to stay that way.
I would use some other app to trigger notes but it may be very complicated. I use Isadora in anyway, so I have a patch that will trigger desired note in 5-10 sec delay so I can move to M8 and highlight the clip tab. Specially if I need more sophisticated way to trigger MIDI. It is silly to do it this way, but we have been asking for possibility to white MIDI address to the clip direct without much interest from M8 developers for years.
Why you are limited to 16 clips only I have no clue. Maybe I have not triggered more than 16 but I haven't seen this limitation before.

You CAN map more keys to trigger individual clips.

When you enable key mapping, look at the top of the main Modul8 interface and switch from 'Focus' mode to 'Position'
Then you can switch media sets and map media slots beyond 16 keys.
