I am looking to trigger Modul8 from a lighting desk. I know that on certain software like Arkaos media server that a lighting desk such as Avolites Tiger Touch can be use to trigger visuals over Art-net. I was wondering of this can be done using Modul8.

Many thanks
Ryan

yes it can be done through Enttec DMX USB Pro or Art-Net. You'll have to use the DMX fixture (dmx) module to assign dmx channels to modul8 keywords. It comes with modul8 if I'm not wrong (otherwise you'll find it in the GarageCube online Library) .

It worked with Modul8 and Martin M6. Its a matter of using the dmx-modul in Modul8 and link lightdesk and Mac via art-net. One can find the step by step guide in the M8 manual.

. the keywords modul8 uses to control the main functions - in the 'Modules' menu, choose 'Keywords Browser' to see them
