MIDI controller tutorial for Modul8

Newbie question! I just bought a Akai LPD8 to use for my next performance. I have never used MIDI controller before. I just opened the LPD8 editor and MIDI editor in Modul8 and I am already lost of where to begin...
Does anyone recommend any tutorial links?
