I'm working on a show where two DJs perform on drum machines and I want to have two cameras set up - each one pointing at a their hands while they play. I need to have both cameras playing at the same time (without any time delay) and then project the live feed of the cameras onto a screen behind the DJs. I'm not looking to put loads of effects on the video it's basically just going to be a split screen with each camera.. Possibly I'll put a .PNG around it to create a nice looking boarder. That's it.
I'm working on a macbook pro with 16gb ram and I can be set up on stage with the DJs.
My question is basically what kind of cameras do people recommend I use which can handle stage lights well? Is modul8 the best program to hand this? and what is the best way to minimise time delay? the feed doesn't need to be crazy HD either.
