    Non-blocky text?

    by Ryan0751 » Wed Jun 18, 2014 2:33 am

I need to display some text, and large.

I added a text layer, and then used normalize (and the size knob in the text layer).

The text gets bigger, but it looks pretty bad. Is there a way to get really big text looking nice?

Ideally I'd like it to be output up to 1080 resolution.

Does this need to be done in M8 or can you create the text elsewhere? I tend to just use PS to create a png.

    Hi Basic,

    i tested it today:

i did the following . To get a really big Text. Use
    Photoshop (4k or 6k) (4000px or 6000px)

i did a png and embedded an alpha channel.

then if you drop this into module you need to scale down.

the typo in my project looked ok.

if you scale in the typo you will see that it keeps being sharp.

    Hi,

    i found another way:

you need to alter the size in the "editor" of the "text module"

if you open the editor , select the text module

in the visual tab click the little menu where you can enter the text size : enter 300 or 500

now press "cmd" "alt" R . The module is updated.

for me that works. If you push the resolution to 110 . It looks good .

this is the Type, for me this looks good (it´s not that good as a grafik, i think)

you need to click over resolution to activate it
