A forum user stated that they used the shuttlePro with modul8, as I understand it the xpress uses the same or similar driver but I cant get it too work.

I have set the shuttle to 'type keystroke left' when the jog wheel is turned to the left.

any ideas very welcome

I know talking to yourself is not that healthy but......

my shuttle xpress works with andrew Wessels scrubber module, so cheers to that if your out there, in fact it works with some other modules as well. Would be interested if anyone can shed any light on why it wont work in the main interface.

You could try MIDIMonitor to see what sort of MIDI info the shuttle is putting out... that may shed some light on it. In Modul8, there's a module called PrintDirectEvent that does essentially the same thing... in my problem-solving manner, I'd try to see what the shuttle is doing before it hits Modul8, then what M8 says it's doing. should have said its a USB device not midi. Its actually I great device, Id recommend for anyone who uses AFX and esp Final cut, as well as being handy for scratching etc.

It has two wheels so it would be nice if you could program them both for different functions, also has 5 buttons that you can key assign.
