Elation MidiCon w/ Modul8 anybody?

Has anyone used a midicon to midimap modul8? I'm having an issue getting the buttons to work in "latch" mode so that they toggle items on/off. Right now things revert when the button is released. There are a few of the midicon buttons that send button down button up data but mostly they are simply button down. Anyone know of a way to tell modul8 to latch the action each time the button is pressed? Elation offers no modification software to work directly with the controller's output.
