newbie question

Hello,
I tried the Demo because I want to use modul8 with Serato Video through Syphon. While I'm using the preview only, my Serato stream is fluend, but when I switch to Fullscreen on a secondary Monitor the refresh rate of the Syphon stream slows down (like a strobe). In the background is a rotating modul8 logo wich rotates very smooth and fluend, so it seems, that it is not a general problem with the performance.
Is this a Limitation of the Demo?
My System is a 2014 MacMini i5 / 8GB, the secondary Monitor is connected via Thunderbolt.
