Just saw Modul8HD mentioned in the latest email out.

Anyone got any details of what we can expect? VERY keen

Love how we're so in the dark about what's going on..

Asked about new version months ago, no replies.. Suddenly there's a masterclass and new version

. any idea on the features? availability ?

. i notice that when i check for updates (v2.9.1) it says there aren't any, but the modul8.ch page says v2.9.2 is the most recent…

Yeah looks like it's been kept under wraps.

Still I'm dying to get a look at it, even happy to pay for the masterclass to attend via Skype to get a look (or even a beta )

The Beta version of Modul8 HD will be unveiled during our master class and available for all our registered users just after.
Basically this new version is retina and support very high resolutions video playback.
A video of the master class will be released as well.

Nice to see there is still interest to my baby Modul8

yeah saw that too. we were wondering here in the office why this is just a sidenote in the newsletter. i think modul8 should get much more love from garagecube! there no VJ program out there that lets me composit and arrange videolayers to my liking with the speed and intuitivity like m8 does. really looking forward to a new version. any hints on what has happened since the last versions? like 64bit or support of the new osx render engines?

Appreciate the masterclass video being planned for release. It's tough at times being an entire ocean away from the heart of things

. i still use Modul8 several times a week - working on new modules, installation video art ideas and interconnectivity w/other applications via syphon, OSC, etc. - even after seven years, i'm still finding cool things to do w/it!

hey, so what happened at the mapping festal mad masterclass? did they show something of the new modul8HD? cant find anything on facebook or the modul8 blog.

watch at MadMapper on Facebook. there are two parts of the Masterclass Videostream included are the new features for Modul8HD

@ Garagecube team,
Did you update the virtual stage / preview? Or is it still limited to 480px in vertical?

I am very impatient to use the HD version and the new engine.

sooooo it's been well over a month since the master class mentioned and poked some excitement into the heads of a few of us on the idea of Modul8HD, still nothing on the horizon other then a whisper of it tho? can we be expecting to maybe get a chance to play with a new version of our favorite software any time soon?
i feel like a junky with an itch and nothing to scratch that itch with....
