    hello... similar question to mr collett..
    have just bought a powermate USB media controller...
    its made by griffin and is supported with wide array of soft..
    FCP, photoshop, i tunes....
    trying to get to work with modul8

    any thoughts.. have tried changing the settings and seems very programmable.. but cant get to work...
    any thoughts??

    Yeah, sad to experience the same. My biggest problem with M8 - in terms of usability - are the short sliders which are hard to be controlled precisely with a mouse. I thought I would be able to use my PowerMate for this, but I cannot. You can attach "send key: Right Arrow" to Rotate Right, and in this case if you can controll a sider if you want (which would be almost enough for me) but it reacts soooo slowly. The problem is in M8, i guess, as e.g. the slider that changes bw group A and B often does not work perfectly with the Left & Right Arrows on the keyboard, either.

    Hello, the same problem. In mdi it isn't possibl either. I'm also searching a external speed slider that is a bit more controllable than the thiny speed slider in modul8. The only option is to try it with an usb device, but i schouldnt know wich one...
