    Modul8 V1.1 has been released!

    by yves@garagecube » Fri Sep 17, 2004 9:22 pm

The version 1.1 of Modul8 has just been released. This is a minor release that includes all the precedent bug fixes, new ones, and a couple of small new features.

    Modul8 V1.1.0 Changes

    - A new scale mode (per layer) that forces your medias to be scaled proportionally to the output window instead of their original size. It is very useful for people who need to work with layers that should always be at full output size.

    - A new function in the "Options" menu has been added to re-scan for midi devices.

    - Fixed a problem that may cause Modul8 not to initialize properly the preferences the first time it is launched.

    - Fixed a rare bug that may cause Modul8 to exit when a project is open.

    - Fixed a problem that may cause Modul8 to slow down after a text has been displayed in the console.

    - Now the channel number display is based on one instead of zero in the midi edit mode.

    - Corrected a minor problem relative to layer rotation and contextual midi.

    Modul8 V1.0.2b Changes

    - Fixed a problem with saving the default midi/key maps

    - Fixed a problem with keymap and the layers sliders

    - Small midi optimization

    Modul8 V1.0.2 Changes

    - Fixed some little problems with midi :
Double triggering when you use a midi keyboard to change the media inside a layer.
Midi with the flash, still, add, remove and duplicate buttons was not working.

    - Fixed a problem when Modul8 is used from different mac os x users.

    - Small optimizations on some floating point computations.

    Modul8 V1.0.1 Changes

    - By default sound channels of your movie clips are not played anymore by Modul8. You have to go to the preferences to turn sound on (under the sound tab).

    - We found a workaround to the problem with QT that may cause Modul8 to crash with movie clips that have a sound channel. You should not have any crash anymore. Let us know if you have any problem.

    - G3 processors are supported now.

    - Fixed a bug on still images and fully decompressed movies that may cause the pixel filters (saturation, contrast, luma/chroma keys) not to be always correctly updated.

    - Fixed a bug that was corrupting the user-interface of Modul8 when the window was moved using a Wacom tablet.

    - Fixed a bug with movies that do not have a constant frame-rate. Modul8 was not playing them correctly the first time they were linked to a layer.

    - The movie position option of the auto-move FX was broken. It is fixed now.

    - A problem in the midi contextual configuration that may produce corrupted midi settings has been fixed.

    - Added help captions to the application preferences.

    - Updated a bit the documentation (mainly regarding sound).

    - Added a direct link to the GarageCUBE forum in the Help menu.
