I have the beta, and I am very impressed with what I am seeing. Will 2.9 users be eligible for a free upgrade once 3.0 is actually released?

Hard to guess.. but I think they let Madmapper 2.0 beta be tested for free, but then charged for the upgrade (was a bit of a shock after using the beta/testing things) - so I would assume it's possibly the same situation.

Of course nobody wants to pay more, so we can always hope but the added support for HD media and new codecs, etc.. really make 3.0 a different beast than 2.9 and below.

Discounts for existing customers would be great if they do go with that model - it's nice to feel like your help/support by owning a copy is of value
