    vga or s-video output?

    by komunikator » Sun Jul 02, 2006 7:13 pm

i did a bit of research on this topic and it seems to me
s-video would be best choice but i'd like to get some feedback
    from users of modul8.
i have a powerbook g4 which has the s-video output and the dvi
to vga converter but i also have an ibook whic only has mini
dvi output. i already have the converter cable for vga but there's also one that will get s-video out of the mini dvi
    [http://store.apple.com/1-800-MY-APPLE/WebObjects/AppleStore.woa/wo/5.RSLID?mco=4D24B4AB&nplm=M9319G%2FA].

i think the ibook will be the main machine for modul8 so what would you guys recommend as far as connecting to a projector with both s-video and vga options?

    thanks_

    Hello,
Use s-vidéo only if you have a vidéo mixer...
But if you plug directly your mac to the beamer VGA or DVI are better...
