    Probleme reconnaissance camera

    by eilendil » Fri Mar 05, 2010 2:38 pm

    - BlackMagic : http://www.blackmagic-design.com/products/
    - Matrox MXO2 Mini : http://www.matrox.com/video/en/products/mxo2_mini/
    - MOTU : http://www.motu.com/video-products

    http://www.blackmagic-design.com/produc ... orecorder/
    est compatible avec M8?

    Grand merci encore!

    http://www.blackmagic-design.com/downlo ... Manual.pdf

    "Third party application support
The Blackmagic Video Recorder software must be used to record video with the Video Recorder hardware. Third party software applications cannot currently be used to record video with the Video Recorder hardware. Once you have recorded your video with Video Recorder, you should be able to play back your H.264 movies with almost any software which supports QuickTime."

Sorry, I deleted the english entry, I'm not so much for double posting, even if it's other languages… as there was already an answer from david in here, the other was useless except for english speaking users.

Basically, David explain him that it's not possible to do live capture with most of the AVCHD camcorders as it doesn't stream video through the usb cable.
Using the HDMI cable it might be possible to get live video using a third party capture card such as blackmagic ones.

The last answer is about using the blackmagic video recorder but it doesn't allow recording using a third party software.
