    Modules too large to use

    by helium_micro » Mon Jun 11, 2007 5:33 pm

There are a few modules out there that I'd like to use, but my Macbook has a maximum height resolution of 800 pixels. If you are making modules that are larger or whose initial x,y locations are above 800, then you are dismissing certain members of the Modul8 usergroup. Modules I've tried to install that will not work because of their screen locations or size are Big Media Playlist and BCF2000 Beta.

    Thanks,
    Helium

I certainly wouldn't have the cheek to complain about modules that people share freely after working hard on them!
If you want them smaller you can fix them yourself.

Just trying to be helpful, not cheeky. I realized after I posted that I could change the modules myself. But good information to know, I think, for anyone creating a module. Anytime you create a new interface it's just common practice to make sure it works on as many devices as possible.

See 'smaller big media playlist' in the lib. took me 5 mins, best way to learn about how modules work as well.
