Is there a mask (local) module in the pipeline? I'm quite keen on blending modes. The mask (global) does an impressive job but some way of blending sets of layers would be ideal.

I have looked at making one myself but the keywords don't seem to support blend modes like exclusion, multiply etc. at the layer level.

this keyword doesn't exist....

it would be so nice....
(but i think it will eat much power...)
