. is it possible for one module to interact with other modules ?

. i have a few multi-layer effects modules (like spir0 and hotm) i've been working on and want to be able to control them via a 'master module' - basically turn them on and off. i've created these modules w/on+off buttons, so can i have one module send the equivalent of a 'the on/off button was pressed' message ?

. i know about using module.getSharedDictionary() but was wondering if there was a more direct way.

No, really no simpler way (I wish!). Look at the BPM global & layer modules how they communicate.
