Hi Guys,
here's a new module only for Modul8 2.6. only
the (vs) Antialias Mediaset (master) module.

A new scripting feature came on Modul 2.6 that enables the control of the Antialias of a media.
This module toggles the bilinear filter checkbox in "edit mode". It saves loads of time. Previously when you wanted to play with unantialias gif pics for instance you had to select each media from your mediaset and uncheck the bilinear filter.
It's over now this module do it for you.

select the mode want to trigger (antialias/No antialias) and click on the mediaset to activate or unactivate the bilinear filter for you media.

have a look

so if you didn't updated to 2.6 there's another reason to do so. :)

Enjoy!

Ok one question. What does the bilinear fileter do exactly and why would you want to turn it off?

it simply removes the antilaoas of a movie.
when you zoom up a video and if you are dealing with 8bits animation and you want to keep this bit like aesthetic, you need to disable the antialias

with bilinear filter on:

with bilinear filter off:
