    BPM SEQUENCER, COLOR CYCLER

    by VJ_JeSs » Thu Jul 21, 2005 7:19 pm

We're on tour at the moment. And we spend a lot of time in the van going from a gig to another. Thank god we have a power plug in the van. So I have spent a bit of time coding modules. Its really good fun.
So check out the sequencer. Its very good with clips with audio.
Give me feedback on functionality so I can improve.
    Have fun ;)

    Greetings,

Could you try uploading your BPM Sequencer again? I tried instaling it a few times, but in each instance only a 4k icon ends up in my modules folder. The colour cycler works like a charm though, nice show!

    Cheers,
    Justin

Help guys, Yves, Boris. I'm trying to upload this Sequencer module. But its not working. It takes ages to upload on my 56k modem. But never appears in the list. It only did appear once. But that was after I forced quit modul8 because I thought it was stuck uploading (apparently it wasn't, and only part of the module uploaded).
Could it be a size limit for module uploads. I'm not sure why; but the sequencer module is quite big (3,9 meg)
    Thx :)

Well, I tried again this morning. Still no luck. It uploaded for about 10 minutes (seems right for 4 meg on a 56k modem). But then nothing appeared in the list of shared modules :(
Sorry guys but I think I'll be the only one to enjoy this sequencer. Althoug I suppose I could just upload it to my webspace and share it the regular way. But I'm not sure its the right thing to do.
Maybe I could e-mail it to Boris or Yves and let you try and share it ???
    bye for now

yeah its a great module :) But sorry Akira apprently it doesn't want to upload. Even Boris can't get it on the server. Or maybe he wants to keep it to himself ;)
Something to do with the size. But a compression sheme is apprently under way for the modules (in the next update). And then it should be fine (correct me if I'm wrong, boris, yves)

Yea, we have a problem with the server yet. You just can't upload a module bigger than approximatively 3.5 megs. Anyway, the next Modul8 version will compress modules before uploading them to the online library. It should solve the problem and also use much less bandwidth. Sorry for that...
