    by ghostofelvis100 » Thu Jan 13, 2011 12:16 am

    Hiya,

Thanks for the great module Boris, That's a lovely bit of code!

Just writing to let folks know I've added a sound input section to the filter mod.
(in library as: (at) Filter (layer) v1.6 )

Seems to be behaving itself so far. Let me know what everyone thinks?

    Have Fun

    , @gostofelvis100 - looks neat!

. is the sound input the overall sound of the individual audio band (0-23) ?

Also having trouble - it looks like it downloads, but it doesn't immediately appear on the desktop as when you download other modules. I quit M8 and received the prompt to save the new module(s) as normal. On re-booting, although it appears in my list, when opened it still does not appear on the desktop.

    M8 2.6.1
    OSX 10.6.6
    MBP C2D 2.33GHz

    HTH, looking forward to this!

The imps of vexation strike again!

    by ghostofelvis100 » Fri Jan 14, 2011 1:55 am

    Okay,

Very weird indeed. But I do have some sort of solution.

I've uploaded and reloaded, renamed re-uploaded - the library just doesn't seem to like this mod! When you attempt to open it in the module editor, there is nothing there to look at - not even a window...

I have managed to repeat all the same issues as paddyfree.

What I can give you all is this direct link:-

    http://blackearthmedia.co.uk/collected/ ... erV1-6.m8m

Your browser will open the page as a xml document. Save the page as source, and remove the '.xml' extension from the downloaded file (Make sure it still has .m8m on the end though). Now place the module into you modules folder and restart Modul8.

I have tested this and it seem to work fine for me. maybe the guys at garagecube can give me some ideas as to why this is happening. I have left the offending module in the public library for testing....

    ____________
    In response to Anomad
The sound trigger is just the overall level so far.
The function is very similar to my Sound Router mod

I had intentions to put band selectors on it, but then realised I'm not going to get around to it for a while, so I figured I'd put it in the library - maybe the library has other ideas ; )

    Okay folks, keep me posted.
    ______________
ps. try applying the sound input to the count value of the kaleidoscope - well interesting!

From a muso starting out in M8, thanks for simplifying the audio triggering side of tings! :)

    FILTER NOT SAVING FAVORITES

    by lamepantallas » Sat Jul 16, 2011 7:06 pm

Hi, My filter module is behaving odd, all of a sudden all my saved favorites effects are missing. I close M8 and reopen it and they appear, but as soon as I click on the saved effects lists (1-4)they dissapear. It also does not let me edit them (add) to save them again in my lists.
Any help? My set for tonight is going to get confusing finding each effect =(
