    Frame incrementer

    Hello module makers,

Can someone write a module with a button that advances a clip every time it gets pressed? This way one could just 'tap' advance a clip.

    Thanks in advance,

They are rather innacurate. I am working with very synchronized content. Most of my clips are composed of say about 2 to 30 frames and each one has very specific content in a specific sequence. For example if the song says "I-am-being-beaten-down-by-the-pol-ice-state" each part of this line would be a separate drawing and would have to be displayed for a specific amount of time. Because the pauses between each word are improvised I have to be very responsive. Sure I could fill my media bin with two or three images but when I have a very long sequence the bins would be very difficult to run through. I don't have enough buttons on my Trigger Finger.

Understand that I am working with a musician where every song has it's own set of visual content. For this work the module have been essential. We almost have a custom module for each song.

Guess I'll just have to figure out how to write it myself. :)

    hi !
maybe you can give my module "EasySelection PLUS" a try and maybe it does what you need ??
it depends a lot of the values that you enter in the module AND of the length of your movie !!!

    for example :
here are the values that works fine for a movie that has a length of 2 seconds :
original speed of your movie = ZERO
    easySelection PLUS :
    LENGTH : 0,0005
    POSITION JUMP VALUE : 0,02

now you can use the jump buttons ( ">" and "<") to jump to the next or the last frame of your movie !!
if you have a movie with another length you have to play a little bit with the LENGTH and the POSITION JUMP VALUE to fit it to your needs.

you can also use the memory / recall buttons to jump directly to stored 'words' (=frames) in your movie.

is this a solution for your problem ?

Hey! That sounds very useful. I checked the library and downloaded you module. It's nice. Nice interface too. Could you upload the PLUS version?
Would like to try that out.

i'm working at the moment at a new feature to trigger automatically the random position and the jump buttons. i will upload later.
