I'm wondering if there is a way to change the BPM module so that instead of 30, 60, 120, etc, I can have 2/1, 1/2. 1/4, 1/8.

In a live set, this would allow me to do drops along with the tracks that the dj is putting on; tap to hit 140 for dubstep, then 1/4 for the pause, and 2/1 or 4/1 back into the drop.

I looked at the code, but I'm really not sure how it's working yet.

Haven't spot this post before asking the same things.

I have slightly modified and simplified BPM (global) for my needs, where I've added x2 and 1/2 buttons, so you can map them and rise and lower actual BPM by 2, where twice of /2 is 1/4 etc.

Download _BPM_(global).m8m.zip file and extract it in to Applications/Modules folder (modul8 v2.5)
Might be useful.

(in this module PAUSE radio-button is simply lies behind a background - bring it up if you need it)

So then, could anybody tell me, is there any place to download, preview, share modules like that? As if anybody will post own modified modules in to modul8.Online.Lib - there will be total mess..

Hiya, thought you may like to know that I've uploaded a newer version of the BPM mod to the M8 online library which may suit your needs.

The main motivation for the update was to get the bpm mod to communicate with an updated version of the Layer Sequencer.

Look for: (at) BPM (global) v3.0
