    in/out bar too small

    by Donleavy » Fri Sep 16, 2005 12:57 am

    Hey there

It's nice that the in/out bar has been added in V2, but I find that the bar is a bit too small. Sometimes I use long videos, and the bar is just too small to use accurately. Is there a way to take this feature and put it in a module with a much longer bar ? Unfortunately I don't do Python, but I would give a try if someone could give me a few pointers...

mmmm.. actually, the in/out bar is the only "object like that in modul8 and they didn't include this object in the module editor so... maybe it's possible to make something that looks like but not the same bar  (maybe two knobs)

ok, I don't know if it would help you but I made a module with knobs, maybe it's easier for you to manage what you want. It's in the online library and it's called InOut Knobs

    Cool,
But you can have more 'precision' with two big sliders.

Thank you - that's very nice of you. I'll modify it into a bar.
