This is mod of the great (vv) Live Monitor by VaiVendo.

As I recently upgraded from a 17" to a 15" MacBookPro my screen real estate is a lot more limited so I took the module by VaiVendo and shrunk it as much as I could. 

I removed the MIDI controls as they are no doubt available via other modules.





Features:
>>Switch of the preview window from LIVE to MONITOR with a click
>> Current layer scratchable progress bar
>> Displays current layer image, fps, total and elapsed time
>> Scratch/In/Out on the joystick
>> Reset layer/master settings buttons
>> Random frame play mode
>> Displays a thumbnail for each layer!
>> Reccomendation: This module may cure some vices of the resolume addicted



Removed:
Handy MIDI assignment goodies!
>> 4 knobs to control Layer Focus, Group A, Group B and media.

If I can get my head around the editor I really want to incorporate the GN Crossfader module in to this one too as other than this monitor module it's the one I think should be mostly incorporated into the main GUI but for some reason isn't.

Thank you for this! I start looking how to mangle some of my favorite modules as well. Some features i never use could be stripped - great idea.

Well I had a lot of luck with my moding, and once I fix one little bug I'll stick it online. Theres a screen shot below.

I added a mixer mode button, which lets you quickly turn modul8 into a 2 bus mixer and have auto fader & cut controls ala V4. Also got play/pause for each layer, speed controls on active layer and all the other bits from this current V3.
Right now though I get an error when I open Modul8, I have have asked for some pointers on the forum so hopefully it can get fixed and live soon.
