Trying to understand a fundemental Modul8 Concept

    Am I missing something?
I bought a new midi controller with shiny 10 buttons and started wondering... is there any chance / module / future plans for an option to trigger any layer without having to mark it before with the mouse (the orange square which indicates the current layer). Wouldn't it be awesome to have the option to press button no.1 to open / close layer No. 1, pressing button no. 2 for layer 2 and so on regardless of the mouse position?

You can in fact do this already. You can either use the keys to your keyboard by going to mapping menu > edit key map > change the mapping style from "focus" to "position" > assign the keys you would like to each layer > save key map.

If you want to do this with your midi controller, do all the same steps but go to edit midi map instead of edit key map.
