I'm about to try and make a module that animates colour gradients like this:

Can anybody give me any pointers?

The clip was made in Apple Motion where the effect is called 'gradient colorize'. I've animated it with an offset from 0 - 359 degrees and it runs through the gradient 4 times throughout the clip. Repeat method is mirror and Map channel is Luminance.

animate the NI core filter Linear Gradient or Radial Gradient .
you already can animate them though the Filter module.
