Hello,
So under yosemite 10.10.2 i have my local ip adresse set 255.255.255.255 with is weird the module works fine under 10.6.8.
As far i can read python stuff i think this has to do with a bug in line

ip = socket.gethostbyname(socket.gethostname())

So is this a known bug or am i the lucky one who got that???

Ok dont't ask me why but i struggle around with sudo on the /etc/hosts file and now it pumps up the right info (before it was taking the broadcast ip and not the attributed ip....
