    Hi.....
Why don't you try the new OHM controller from Livid Instruments http://lividinstruments.com/hardware_ohm.php it will be on sale in October.

Hi Christian, thanks for that heads-up, interesting looking interface.

The Monome open philosophy & implementation is particularly what I'm looking for
rather than a general fader/trigger interface for clips.
I've signed up for their newsletter though so thanks. :-))

Probably you'll have to ask them for a list of monome 40h owners and ask the mafia to get one for you hhehe. But you'd rather try the compact and "multitools in one" Lemur controller. You will be able to recreate easily the same interface as the monome with it.

Why not buy a sixty four when they come out later this year? you've got more chance than getting a s/h 40h

Yeah, dead right about that sonicslice - but if you don't ask etc ...

Buying a new 64 in November+ is my fall back position.

If I was in any position to be fussy I wouldn't choose walnut for my gear.
If I end up with a new 64 I will come to love walnut very very much.

Lupin - good plan - but - the lemur is Macbook Pro territory on price.

I prefer using a dedicated one-job-tool rather than a 'multitool'.
If I could afford a Lemur I would change my position on this also and come to love it very very much.

    :)))))))
