More and more people around me are getting interested in doing visuals and sking me to show them something. Also on my university they offered a dj workshop this year, so why not organize a VJ workshop next year.
Do you have some suggestions/experience regarding this issue?
My ideas so far
Organization:
1.max number of participant: 10, 15 or 20..?
2 .equipment: one presentation projector, one projector linked to v4 for the participants
for their laptops, modul8 demo on usb-stick, sound-system for music
3.lenght of presentation: 1 hour, 1 hour 30, and then 1 hour jamming.
Course:
1.View words about me and vjing in general prox. 5min
2. technical issues prox 5 min
3. preparing media prox 10 min
4.Modul8 interface, signal routing prox 10 min
5. layer options prox 10 min
6. effects prox 15 min
7.bringing in midi-control: prox. 10 min
8. more details: compositions, live cam in, modules, getting organized prox 10min
9. 5 min performance.
