Output to DVD or Blu-ray

Postby Rudgey » Mon Dec 02, 2013 3:20 pm

I have not purchased this MadMapper yet as I wanted to find out first if you can output the work once finished to DVD or better still Blu-ray disc?
I work as a visual artist, so within a gallery setting it would be much better to run as a continuous loop without the need of a computer.
Sorry if this is a bit of a basic question.

use Syphon Recorder to record your mapping session to disk, then burn to DVD/BlueRay

Is it possible to directly output a QuickTime movie file from MadMapper?

What does "Export Output" mean under "File?"

I am wanting to create a movie that can be played through a projector, projecting over and onto some mostly flat painted images. I would like to use MadMapper to get the movies just right on the paintings. The movies will not be played in real time, but rather off of some media through the projector.

Thanks

Any update for this? I'm also wondering what the export output does.

export output saves the quad's wireframe in SVG or PDF format, if you want them as a background for, say, Illustrator or Photoshop.
Useful when you want to make some projector masks for instance.

To Record your output, you'll have to enable Syphon output in MM preferences, and then record using Syphon recorder (free)
