Can my audio reactive Quartz Composer files work in Modul8?

Postby garageRoot » Sun Dec 06, 2009 4:31 pm

- Download the SafeAudioInput plug-in from Kineme.
- Create a folder in 'Library/Graphics/' and name it 'Quartz Composer Patches.'
- Put the SafeAudioInput plug-in into the folder.

It is not necessary to reboot your computer for the plug-in to work.

The following configurations have been tested:
- Mac OS X 10.5.7 using Modul8 2.5.8.
- Mac OS X 10.6.1 using Modul8 2.6.

Can you explain how we then take advantage of this? Do we need to have Quartz Composer installed? I just tried this without and nothing happened. QTZ files stay unanimated.

I am just assuming here but you have to create a Quartz Composer project that uses reactive audio but now it will work in Modul8 as before it would not.
