Hello,

I was wondering if it possible to output more than one video source / jit.window to the syphon on madmapper?

The project I am working on requires the different video sources to be triggered and manipulated separately from each other, using midi notes (via Ableton). So making one big video file and rendering them together (as one would normally do to obtain multiple video images) wouldn't work, as the interactivity between the videos will be lost.

If anyone can help that would be awesome!!

you can use MAD_Doubler or any other trick to concatenate 2 syphon inputs into one.

modul8 .... to have multiple syphon inputs along with some video files as well -why not-
and send the final composition to MadMapper, in order to process the mapping setup
does that helps ?

quartz works well with madmapper plus it's not as processor heavy as M8. I'm pretty sure you can have two syphon inputs and a billboard in the quartz file and drop that into madmapper.

Thanks guys I ended up using the max object jit.glue to glue together all my different jit.gt.movie video outputs and then syphoning the final output window to MM works great!

Have you tried VIZZable for M4L (not sure if you're using ableton). http://zealousy.com/2013/04/vizzable-2/

seems like you can have as many channels/mixers as you want as well as a drum machine type bank for clips. in the download folder there's VIZZable.IN.syphr.amxd and VIZZable.OUT.VIEWR.amxd which allow for syphon input and output. i think it's only max 6 compatible though.

I'm new to this max business but I got it up and running (sending syphon to M8, MM etc) in no time thanks to the tutorials on that site.

I have been playing with Vizzable and V-Module, they BOTH do not have option for final multiple output. (Only output for the purpose of mixers to ONE output).

Please let me know if anyone has found a way to do this.

We are aware that many people actually need dual syphon inputs. (or even more than 2)
I just want to let you know that we're working hard to resolve this issue ...
