I'm trying to trigger movies with MIDI notes. However the movies only start playing when I hit the note for the second time. Is this supposed to happen?

I also tried mapping the playback to keys however this works as expected, with only a single press triggering.

That's correct. This bug was fixed. It's already fixed in 2.5 beta. Thanks for the report

Try to move manager in his MIDI sequencer to make sound from a photo of a unicorn. Each spot and line sketching out the episodes that trigger a MIDi essaydune note. Hope this helps!
