We try to use the space scanner in madmappr 4.0.1. Everythings seems to work, but the result is not very precise.
The way we test it is like this:
Subject: a wall with a window in the middle and two open closets next to it.
Projector: Epson TW6600 (normal homecinema prijector, everything reset to normal, resolution: 1920x1080)
Camera: Sony A6000 with kit-lens connected to a blackmagic decklink duo 2, I know it''s not a Canon, but Madmapper sees it and the image is clear)
Camera settings: 1/30 shutter, ISO 100, manual shutter
Resolution of the camera: 1920x1080
everything is set to 1920x1080
Camera is positioned on the projector, at the same angle, we've tried lens shift and lifting the projector, a wide image and zoomed in.
A strange thing is that the output of Madmapper when scanning is not completely full-screen, on the bottom we miss a few pixels, we sea that too when we 'project' on a normal monitor, also 1920x1080. Is that normal? Normal output is just fine, I've check it, it was 16:9.
We test the result by putting the fullscreen Cursor option on, and point the mouse to differents points on the scanned picture (that is set as background by madmapper) Mainly the top-middle is oke, but on the bottom the differents is very clear, I think 5cm in real. (the whole picture is about 4M wide)
Are we missing something?
