Hi all...yepp, I'm a total newbie.

Question: I just want to make a playlist of 10 MP4 videos on a simple cue list that when pressing a button or a pad on a novation launchpad, it jumps or starts the next video in the cue with a transition effect. Output for test issues in the floating window on my MacBook, later on Projector.

When I add the videos to the cue list, although they are 5 or 7 or 8 or ... min long, after 5 sec it's jumping to the next one. Sometimes I see them on the right playback window, sometimes not.

Pressing the start button (changing to blue) above the scene/cue list, nothing happens....

I'm a little confused....Or I'm stupid or the software is far more complicated than I thought (Qlab is in comparison very much more straight forward).

I think scenes are automatically set to play 5 seconds. If you look in your scenes/cues window, in each square you have content, at the top right it says "Auto." Click that and it will pop up a menu that lets you adjust how long the scene holds for. The bottom selection will play the scene the length of the media and then jump to the next scene.
