    by techQTZ » Tue Sep 10, 2024 3:18 pm

    Hi,

I can't get the LEDs on my MIDI controller (AKAI APC mini 2) to work.

it is recognized in MIDI but not in the surface controller... What am I doing wrong ?

The port name "APC mini mk2 Port 1" is not yet handled by the module. We experienced getting "APC mini mk2" & "APC mini mk2 Control" but not "APC mini mk2 Port 1". We'll add it to the list. I don't understand why port names are changing for the same device...
Anyway it will be in MadMapper 5.6.4, I'll send you a build in private message when there's one

Did you make any change to the Midi devices in macOS through the "audio MIDI Setup" app?

Did you try restarting your computer to check if the original name came back?

    thank you for your response,
I hadn't changed anything in the MacOS MIDI studio. By default, it was assigned to port "port 1".
By creating a new configuration in the MacOs MIDI studio, the APC MINI is mounted on the MIDI "control" port.

Everything works perfectly now, the APC is well recognized in the control surface.

    THANKS !
