function publish to spout

Hi
Newbie on Madmapper I did not find any info on the function " Publish to Spout " in section projector.
What is the use of this function?

In the projectors tab, select your projector, below the projectors list you have its properties, there is a button "Publish to Spout" there.

Hi,
thanks for your help.
I tried to use it but clicking the button, madmapper closes instantly without further warning.
I was thinking about a bug or maybe I'm using the demo version.

It's not supposed to crash in any way... Have you tried updating your graphics drivers ?
Can you try to install Spout SDK (
http://spout.zeal.co/download-spout/)
In folder Program Files (x86)\Spout2\SPOUTDXMODE
Start the executable and set it to DirectX 9. Someone solved a problem this way, but it was not crashing !
I'd like to understand your crash...

I also have the same problem after clicking the button, madmapper closes instantly without further warning, my video card is Nvidia Quadro K420 , how do I do ?it spout to madmapper .

Are you graphics drivers up to date ?
