3x 4k synced video

What is the best option to do a triple 4k screen synced video?
Always used madmapper on macpro and macbookpro etc.
Would it be a triple gpu windows setup to run a 11520x2160 video and sent the 3 screens through a own dedicated gpu?
I don't have much knowledge about sli or crossfire, and how madmapper handles this.
I did it with an macpro but this died within 48 hours due to the crappy gpu soldering.
