Madmapper as long term signage control?

I'm looking to use madmapper as a long term solution to control the lighting for an outdoor sign. Is madmapper designed for this? The reason I ask, is that I ran some tests and let my LED strips to run for a number of days, but the output froze or quit after about 12 hours. I'm currently running a teensy along with madmapper to control my strips.

Does anyone from MadMapper monitor this forum? I've asked a couple questions, but I get no response.

Which version of MadMapper are you using ? Is it properly licenced ? demo ?

By the way, of course MadMapper is widely used in permanent video & light installations, and in some cases we didn't program an auto reboot (which is advised anyway, because of OS, drivers and other possible leaks) and it ran for months.
